I just have that feeling he wont spend mate. hope I'm wrong tho.
 
Ok, I'm quite enjoying this. Funky and Ultimate Makem are both making very good points. Let's leave out the spending spree issue for a minute and stick the rest together. We have Fletcher and Wickham, neither of whom are Bent, but both are capable of more than four goals before January. We have Altidore who can deliver against the class of Germany, Nigeria and Bosnia. We have, as UM said, two very capable players who can do a job in the hole. So apart from a fast and skillful player on the left wing, we have the makings of a very good attack. So where are the goals?

That's my point. We have good ingredients, and we're making a lousy cake. Why?
