I look on how much things have changed in life...

If you smoke these days you're treated like a rabid dog, get outside

If you want a beer all the fooking pubs are closed

I can't even have sugar in my coke anymore

I got a cctv camera following my every movement in town

Along with a mobile that logs every step of my life

Now they want to regulate speech... <wah>

I've even started to say to myself it's not my world anymore....once i pop off, all the vegan looney green lefties can have it, just wait until i die ffs.

i didn't think about all this..... quite insightful really

The remainers are having a bit of a meltdown on GC because you now can't take your ham sarnies into the Netherlands... because of Brexit <grr>

Why, what did you think I was gonna say? I believe in free speech. I don’t, however, think opinion should be allowed to masquerade as news, and I don’t believe free speech should extend to incitement to violence or riot. In the US, the first amendment makes free speech an uncontested absolute right, pretty much without limit; that’s never been the case in the U.K., where freedom comes with certain responsibilities.

As for social media, it seems they are accused of having created a monster, but they didn’t create the monster; hate and fear created it, just as they created the same monster in the 1930s.

Social media gives extremism a platform, but in the 16th Century European governments tried to ban back street printing presses for spreading sedition. It didn’t work. Because the problem doesn’t lie in printing presses or social media, it lies in men’s hearts.

Lastly, it really isn’t the far left you need to be worrying about just now. Have a look around you ffs. Capitalism is failing millions of people, and as a result, democracy is under threat, but most certainly not from the left.

@Treble See what I mean ^^ thanks bro!

The best thing about Covid n Trumpgate is that every single negative about Brexit isn't being analysed by journalists and 20 page reports posted about it.

"In 2007 ham sandwich sales boosted the robust British European economy by a staggering £20m...

Did you know that without sandwiches, British truck drivers are 26.7% more hungry on route?

If a wood chuck COULD chuck wood, how many people will die of EU21?"

I remember many years back I was travelling by car from California to Nevada. I got stopped by some state border control. It appears there are varying rules about everything from fruit to animals in state to state crossing. Not sure if ham sandwiches are on the list though. :cheesy:

Shows how weird things are now that we have to operate like normal countries.

I always thought food was banned from travelling, I'm fuming, I never once took food with me to Europe.

All those wasted years.

I've never carried food with me, other than sweets and drink to have on the plane and the only thing i'm interested in bringing back is bottles of wine.
