Came in under strange circumstances, steadied the ship and took us to the playoffs. This season has been disappointing but he has helped lay some fantastic groundwork for the future.

Got to admit, I’m a bit stunned by this. We were having a wobble but could have turned it round.

Why? Tension were clearly high in the summer. He isn't the one for the longer term.
He has done very well and is always welcome at the club. But no way was he staying past this season and since the form has been absolutely shocking. 2 wins 10 or something, this is all that was needed to get him gone.
Shame, he had a bit more time in the bank with me; but that's football. Last interview didn't sound right.
