No Spandau Ballet, I hope ;)

Actually, is it really any good? Amazon are really pushing it as a special offer.

I have some pretty weird music choices but I think its pretty good. Very instrumental with a few unique tracks in there.

Cheers. Actually, I've always believed that if you love music, you will necessarily have some weird choices; I know I do.

LOL... He'll soon be Scottish again! (I can get away with that being part Scot).

Seriously though... Extremely happy for the bloke!

Sorry but that Murray vs Federer game stank of gifting him the gold.

He's still scottish in my books until he gets a real tennis award!

I must admit, being fairly cynical about the commercialism of the Olympics and the political shenanigans, not to mention the limp attempts to pass it off as a British event when it's actually a London event (not that London isn't doing a great job), I've been caught up in the hype a bit this weekend. Once you get down to the nitty gritty and see hard-working, talented individuals being rewarded for dedication and diligence with scant regard for fame, fortune or ego, it is quite inspiring. A mere drop in the ocean of the corruption, greed, self-interest and darkness that drowns the world thanks to politicians, business and bankers abandoning morals and basic common decency to grow fat like mosquitos on the blood of the larger population but inspiring, nonetheless.

I couldn't put it better myself, so I won;t I'll just copy and paste it elsewhere and pass it off as mine.

I could have. I missed out "despite" between "admit" and "being".

Um... it appears it's the sons and daughters of the blood-bloated politicians, businessmen and bankers who are doing the most winning. Should've known it was too good to be true. Still, half the winners aren't from privileged backgrounds and it's those examples of personal excellence I was thinking of. <ok>

On another BBC News Olympics headline...

Are Team GB competing in this event? You'd think a gold medal would be all but guaranteed.
