I worked in a well known brewery up here some years ago and a lad,in his 30's decided to go the full way and become a woman.

Everyone in the Brewery was taken into a meeting and warned that any quips,insults or derogatory remarks would result in disciplinary action,up to and including dismissal...Fair enough,no big deal to me,he/she had decided to do something in her life,non of my business!!

It wasn't long before the Women in said brewery had dug their heels in and kicked off due to the toilet situation,it started to cost a lot of money to build new changing rooms,toilets etc and this began to 'annoy' management because it was starting to affect budgets,bonuses et al..

She then became a problem in terms of Rachel not being able to lift things that she previously could when she was Alan...I then began to hear lots of fairly bitter comments about her being a freak/weirdo/oddball,not by the hoi polloi that had been warned,this was from the very manager's who had warned us!!!(oh ,incidentally,they were all far younger men than I)

Virtue signalling,been there,seen it,bought the ****ing T-shirt.
