Well at least this has ended that circling debate about the great Saints summer exodus.

Seeing as there are no matches and no interesting transfer rumours I will respectfully take a 48 hour break from the forum. Shouldn't be too difficult to catch up on posts

Mental. If the people who I like to exchange views with won't longer be posting, then I'll be taking a sabbatical too!

Hang on. I just realised Schad was meaning leaving the forum. I was meaning going to bed for the night!

Ha, sorry, I appear to have mistakenly resigned. I might think the mods on this occasion may have been encroaching into the territory of "somewhat ridiculous", but I'm sorry to tell you that I'm still going to be here for the foreseeable.

Unless I get banned for calling the mods somewhat ridiculous of course!

Mods, bit quick with the ban hammer, don't you think? This is typically a well-run forum with very little drama. Seems odd that when emotions were running high this summer we all got by with nary a flamewar or mass exodus only to have a bit of a joke result in craziness. I think you ought to take think over the complaints being lodged.

Everyone else, let's not make this a big deal. It's 48 hours, those two will be back in no time and it's not like there's anything cooking in terms of transfers or squad news.

As for the positive vs negative stuff, I don't think anyone is getting shouted down. Beefy is as quick to defend the club as Joe has been to question them. No one has ever been able to stop them from posting, and if those two are getting along fine there really doesn't seem to be a problem here.

Everyone being a little melodramatic today!

I nearly even got signed by the Liverpool forum without meaning to hand in a transfer request. The world's gone mad, I tells ye.....

I nearly got banned once for calling people c**ts

edit: It's also rather amusing to see people take a website so seriously

after my time spent bringing the Swansea fans together
and possibly bringing peace to the little arab Israeli thing I have been asked to intervene here
is help still needed or has everyone calmed down now

Yes hopefully sanity returns. I spend some time on other teams Boards and our Mods are the best around imo.

Yah, I think we need to give the mods a little slack this time, nobody's getting flayed or sent to a gulag. I haven't been around that long but I've scrolled my way through a fair few forums and one of the reasons i like this one is that its well managed.
