Understandable that considering what he’s went through with his dad and all, lad probably just likes being away from it all and focusing on his footballYep. Likes to be out of London too. Much more zen. Good human who has developed above his years.

That's good to hear tbh and i had a feeling it was the case. The way he speaks is much calmer than his years. Hopefully he is here long term.Yep. Likes to be out of London too. Much more zen. Good human who has developed above his years.
It feels like a bad sign that we’re managing to do deals for Cirkin, Patterson, Hume etc (although obvs getting those signed up are brilliant things in themselves) but Stewart who we’ve known needs a new deal for over a year now is still not done
Good signing imo. One of the few positives from a **** Spuds season. You must log in or register to see media
I'm very close to this position mate.I’ve already assumed Stewart is off, that or the club are reluctant to offer what he wants based on the severity of his injury and his recuperation.
I have never heard of a buy back clause where the player doesn't get a choice if he wants to go or not.

I've noticed Ross is in the minority to not put anything on social media at all (he maybe just can't be arsed) since the season finished. Unless I've totally missed it!I'm very close to this position mate.
He had a face like a slapped arse when the players did their lap of appreciation at the last home game. He looked to me like he wanted to be away.I've noticed Ross is in the minority to not put anything on social media at all (he maybe just can't be arsed) since the season finished. It's also noteworthy how many of these lads are signing new contracts, relatively quickly, and his has been going on for a while. Although his injury has probably halted negotiations. Just shows the club are willing to up the players money to a degree, but maybe Ross is just asking too much?!?!

Agree. Nobody iss bigger than the recruitment planDon’t get me wrong I’d be over the moon if he signed a deal but we’ve proved we’re strong enough throughout the team and I’ve got faith in the recruitment now.

Club option as well on top of that. So effectively 2026Signed a 3 year deal so it's up to 2025
Aye, but didn't want to get into the club option or notClub option as well on top of that. So effectively 2026

We need Robrts and Clarke to sign deals. And they willWhat we have with Cirks, Roberts and tk a lesser degree Clarke (our holy trinity as it were), is that they have GOT the club and they see it.
They love the club and hey see what we ‘can’ be and wanna have a bit.
We need to deliver, but players like these 3 deliver, and keep it.
All of them make the step up to PL, along with Ballard, Stewart(if here) and Hume, Neil.
Ba, Bennette & Eiwah have that potential too.
