Cheers mate....am a little lost off now with all these positive links coming....its much easier to follow when our owners are skint & wont commit to us having a go:emoticon-0104-surpr
Have you not read the script? Our owners are skint, won’t pay for any decent player, Speakman makes all the decisions and KLD is looking to sell. Oh aye and probably something about Doddsy as well.:emoticon-0138-think

Just off the phone to my mate who passed on the info, and he said im fine to pass it on as no chance it getting back that it was him lol

We were really interest in Reis from Hamburg, very talented CM. He knows that we were over to see him quite a few times last season, including Harvey himself going out.

He used to work for Hamburg so still gets the odd piece of info, he says there was interest from us at the start of the window n he wonders if we might revisit it with the money from the Clarke deal.

No idea if we have a bid in or anything like that, just serious interest. Imo i cant see it since we signed Browne earlier in the window n have Neil Jobe n Rigg looking to kick on this season but you never know.

He also said Simic would be class for us and has 'top level potential'.

Dutch lad. Interesting link.

Wasn’t he at Barca a short while

Reading this I'm in!

Ludovit Reis is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Hamburger SV, a 2. Bundesliga club. He was born on June 1, 2000 and is known for his technical skills, ball control, and in-game intelligence. Reis is comfortable playing in any midfield position and can bring the ball out of defense, battle in the center of the park, push forward into the final third, intercept the ball, and harrier when out of possession

I guess we're backing ourselves to be the ones to get that final jigsaw piece put into place with Simic. He hasn't scored goals, however the rest of his game sounds very good. If we can add Mendy and Simic and with Isidor hopefully it would take the pressure off Simic a little bit in that regard.

Ultimately strikers need chances creating though, and when Stewart got injured we adapted to play without a proper goal-hungry CF. Its encouraging to see us score a goal like the 4th last Sunday, with the ball rolled across the box for Mayenda to tap into the empty net. These are the bread and butter of any CF.
Simic has scored 34 goals in men’s football

Yes mate im quick enough to follow that just not quick enough to follow positive news from various angles:emoticon-0102-bigsm

Bizarre feeling.....we have lost our (possibly???) best player.....yet i cannot wait for this afternoon & were still just as capable of giving Burnley a difficult afternoon....shows the direction club is headed.

I said maybe over a year ago...this is a massive change from nobody wanting our players & sometimes even having to pay the just to fxck off

On the Clarke transfer fee, id hoped we could have got a more than what we reported have....but what is maybe unknown is, have we pulled a fast one on Spurs, they get % of £15m but do they get a % of the addons? Which some are reported as being as good as will happen. Including the sell on % was crucial.

We maybe could have held on for more.....but this isnt just about the Clarke sale, its about SAFC selling at the right time for SAFC to move the club forward.....its about the start of a hopefully constant stream of money coming into the club so we can grow & not hit FFP issues, Stewart was the first sale of such to start the, with addons etc......hopefully this will continue to grow, that includes players who arnt really at our level but sales to L2 making sure we get the right addons

I do get people's frustration having watched Ipswich have back to back promotions, but they equally could end up with FFP issues....if we could get up we should have room to invest /have a bit of a go without worrying about not going up or coming back down & being fxcked ref FFP.....it will take longer & require more patience.....i just cant help thinking back to those L1 years & the championship relegation & thinking.....im much more enjoying going to games & the club.....is the club perfect?? Not a chance there are a number of major issues such as ticketing, which is a joke....but KLD is building from ground zero following the clowns before

KLD got more than enough in the bank for me to KTF

Ha’way lads, you’re both better than this. If it’s private and can’t be said then it should probably be left in PMs (since you’re already messaging there) rather than the teasing.

Just my opinion mind, it’s obviously up to you.
Screw that, keep it up lads. I know know we're after a highly rated midfielder

‘Building from ground zero’ is exactly it for me. Looking so good through all the age groups now. And I’m amazed at the those judging and decrying our performance in the transfer window when we are only now really in the business end. Looking promising at moment, will wait until this time next week myself.

Yep, i had it confirmed by a scout i know over there that weve watched him a lot

Similar to what you messaged no idea if bids are in or anything but we have serious interest

Understand that neither you or @TheBronzeBummer are able to name players but is the lad in question of a similarly exciting level as Simic?

Ah, see you've now named him. Cheers mate.
Right will read up on him when I'm getting my bait.

If we do get Simic in plus a couple of others (upgrades) using the Clarke money then I’m all for this model.

Regarding full back cover. I’m not one for loans unless we have an option to buy but a loan from some Premier Club until the January window when Huggins and Seelt should be back would be the ideal solution.
