Im in the minority but im not a massive fan of Michut, disappeared in n out of games far too much for my liking. Doesn't offer the physicality or running power that we seem to now have in our CM

No doubt hes technically good but he wants too much time on the ball so i reckon italian football would br perfect for him
I agree, after watching on Sunday he can't play like that

Loved Michut, was disappointed we didn't sign him permanently but he wouldn't get in the team now

Having said that, sell Ekwah and bring Michut on a free would be an immense piece of business

Prime. Would be ideal. We have to factor in Lenz as well though he’s likely going to be considered this season.

We could lose Ekwah and not replace without me ****ting bed.

I do like Michut though and be happy if we added him.

Inclined to agree he’d struggle for minutes and to fit system mind.

Think with a bit of time to acclimatise he could be shaped into the Dan Neil replacement we may well need in summer 2025. He's certainly set up to be that metronome at the base of midfield. If he can up his robustness and the pace of his play as you highlight, he'd be a nice hedge to have against injury and future transfers IMO.

Yeah that’s my impression on him too, I think he was a very decent technical player but I feel our midfield we have now are more mobile and can play at a higher tempo

Obviously him being a free is appealing but i dont think hes got the physicality needed to play in England

We need mobile cms to fit our aggressive style of play n Michut doesnt fit that

Its one of the reasons i was pleased we didnt sign Norwood - technically good but cant get about the pitch at pace

Could Michut be coached into it do you think?

Also need a disciplined player to step into the role Dan Neil is playing. He's been vital in the 1st couple of games in regards to the lads alongside him being allowed to press on and play that aggressive style.
I don't think we've for another player who could play that role currently in the squad

There will def be aspects he can be coached on but he will never be a physical player. When i say physical i dont mean in terms of strength, its more to do with covering the ground with pace

Our 4 1st choice cm - neil jobe rigg n browne - can all cover a lot of ground n do it at a good pace, not sure Michut can

He wont sign for us tho, hes had the opportunity at the end of his loan n i dont think he wants to play championship football

I have said a few times that we could do with a natural replacement for neil. So if Adil or Ekwah are sold we should sign a natural cdm to back up neil
