Anybody who criticises Speakman should compare the squad we have now to the squad we had for several years before he arrived.

Not only that but the likes of keeping Rigg and probably Jobe’s as well is, in my opinion, mainly down to Speakman.

OK, he’s signed a couple who are just poor or not ready yet but his record here is excellent and I certainly wouldn’t want to lose him.

This squad is worth more than 10 times the squad was when he first arrived.

Don’t hound him out.

We are currently rejecting offers of £18million plus for one player.

Whole squad was worth less than half that before this fella came in.

We don’t really need to add to that, but let’s anyway…

I can’t even be arsed, nor do I need to continue.

Not only did they sign. They stayed. They signed extensions.

What the **** do people want.

Agree with all of this, but I also think it’s fair to criticise how many younger players we’ve brought in when they can’t get a game and it’s obvious we can’t play them all. Speakman has undoubtedly improved the value of the squad any amounts though some brilliant signings in Bellingham, Hume, Clarke, Cirkin, Ballard etc and by those players continually signing improved contracts it proves that they enjoy being here/working with him.

Vastly different,

yes some havent worked, and we've sold them on, for a profit, which was something we never did under SD

we have players actually worth something and will sell them if the price is right

all the work of Speakman and Harvey too, the scouting team have been given a better net to use
not players coming in for a pay day

I dont mind folk criticising him tbh, as i get he will rub folk up the wrong way at times. He has def made mistakes since joining us, most DoFs do so i don't mind when folk call him out for that or say what he could do better

Its when posters like Bob come on trying to stir things n say things as fact when its all opinion, that i get bothered. Its then obvious that they have an agent n only focus on the things hes done wrong/things he could do better it

This is what i just meant by my post, nothing wrong with calling him out on the things youve said n how youve done it

Theres a way to criticise him but also if someone does they should praise him when he gets things right
