Could be anything with Mendy . We've bid £1m and they want £4m ? If there's been another offer. ? Might have been all add ons to get that centre ground of £2.5M. Nobody knows do they ? Think it's still ongoing but we've got the new lad having a medical so they say. All seems to tie in with the Mendy latest . We must be confident he'll pass that medical .

Guessing here Isidor could buy his new contract out and we pay him ? Is that a possible way around it all ? Nice to have a few options up front Mayenda , Isidor , Mendy ? If it's not Mendy then there's always Ba to do a part time job.

Hemir is not in the plans and Rusyn just doesn't fit the system. Neither are viable options.

... so KS has used the the very public 'pursuit of Mendy' as a negotiating tool.

So who takes them on? They’re still contracted to us whether they’re in the plans or not.

we won’t sign another forward, in addition to the lad from Russia unless 2 go out the door.

That's up to the club to find suitable destinations for them, but we can't not sign much needed players who fit what we are doing because we have players that don't fit here. We had 4 strikers at the start of last season in Rusyn, Hemir, Burstow and Mayenda and they all featured in the first team so we are not afraid to sign multiple players in that position.

I’m not disagreeing with the need for new strikers, I’m just pointing out that unless we move out players then I can’t see us getting another forward on top of the lad we’re currently after.

There are 9 days left, things either way are starting to accelerate

Michut wanted a more advanced role did he not when he was here. ? Might be able to persuade him to be part of the midfield ? Free is canny so hope we give it a shot.

I doubt he'd want to join. It was as much his decision as ours not to pursue the permanent deal

Im in the minority but im not a massive fan of Michut, disappeared in n out of games far too much for my liking. Doesn't offer the physicality or running power that we seem to now have in our CM

No doubt hes technically good but he wants too much time on the ball so i reckon italian football would br perfect for him
