I think he is one of those that needs to be loved and told all the tims how good he is. Mowbray did that with him a lot and got good rewards. Ideally players wouldnt need it, but some definitely shine brighter when they get the tender approach.
Everything I have read about Regis suggesta he likes to develop players to be their best. Hopefully he clicks with Roberts because he can be so bloody good. Big season for him though, it has to be consistent because others will be kicking the door down.
I like him and he gets good info, but this is a scenario where we all know that if he knew something, he’d be tweeting it to claim the exclusive. The very fact he’s not suggests he’s just creating noise.

I’m not a fan tbh. Cut in surrender and fall over man. I’ve more hope of Ba coming good with some guiding French sense in his ear or Mundle who has graft and pace in him. I think those last two are more ripe for growth than Roberts.
United know all about him anyway, been watching him for a couple yrs. City are huge fans as well, they had a bid in for him last season
Sure he signed a 3 yr deal last summer i think, i expect us to extend it at some point this season
