Will Lankshear has signed a new five-year Tottenham contract, with the 19-year-old striker now expected to be loaned out. Sunderland, Wrexham and Hull City have all made early enquiries.https://www.givemesport.com/spurs-t...ued Gallagher at £,hope to land Gallagher for.
I work with a scout who is a big spurs fan and he raves about this lad - plus moore n donley - says he could be class I havent seen enough of him to really comment but the times I've seen him hes been good
I can’t help it, I still get so much more excited about a link like this, with a player I know nowt about, than I do for links with the likes of Browne. I fully appreciate that ideally you probably want a mix of both in the squad.
On Lankshear; it's a no from me. Even if we got Mendy, I'd want another more proven striker to go with him with, such as the Iraqi lad at Ipswich. On Fishpaste; he's a ****er, but I think the grief he's getting is a bit OTT. On Perez; in an interesting player, looks very good, but I'm wary of us bringing in a South American based player, it could be a long bedding in process and if he's Ekwah's supposed replacement, we'd struggle if that happened. On Mendy; I think we'll go to about 1.5 mill if a deal isn't already sorted... On Matty Young; poor Patta must be buzzing hes off to Salford. Hopefully players 30 games, there'll be clubs all over the globe bidding for him if he does well in League 2 at 17, its unheard of for a GK.
On Lankshear (spell check hates his name) I’m all for quality. Happy if we get him if he is good enough or has a significant characteristic like pace, finishing but we have to get somebody who has something. Burstow had little to offer, not even work rate, aggression or enthusiasm. We may be well get a better quality loan than we can afford a signing so shouldn’t be scarred as long as we get the better options. That said I think we also need a surer safe bet for them to compete with.
Off topic but seen the latest Everton takeover bid is off, wonder if they're going to be forced into more sales
