If they’re replacing him with Sinclair it looks poor on paper, I know I half praised Sinclair earlier in this thread for his work rate but its goals return is shocking, qpr fans don’t seem too bothered his going either

HITC understands that Leeds United and Sunderland are among a host of Championship clubs battling to sign Bournemouth striker Daniel Jebbison.

Bournemouth moved quickly this summer to sign the 21-year-old striker from Sheffield United after he rejected the chance to sign a new deal at Bramall Lane.

HITC understands that Sunderland are showing the strongest interest in Jebbison and plan to have him lead their attack next season.

The Black Cats are preparing for the upcoming season with newly-appointed manager Regis Le Bris and they are eager to supply him with a new striker.

Any deal for Jebbison this summer would strictly be a loan agreement as Bournemouth have no intention of letting him leave on a permanent basis.

Jebbison is a strange one for me.

Looked like he had huge potential then seemed to lose his way a bit. I dunno if we’re at a stage where we can bring in another young lad who might have an impact.

Does the Sunderland echo ever report anything “Sunderland” any more? Every article eeens to be “former Sunderland target signs fir [insert name if Australian b league club]”

or “team signs player Sunderland were never linked with” or “Sunderland rivals sign player Sunderland were never interested in”

Joke of a “paoer” nowadays!

Yeah it definitely shows we're interested.

They're also skint so I'm sure we're just haggling. Hope they don't haggle for too long though, and just get it over the line.
Similar happened with mayenda didn’t it? His club were in financial trouble too can understand them wanting to squeeze every penny out of us given they’ve already lost one striker to Burnley

I am expecting Roberts to come back with a bang personally. No reason other than instinct. I think if he gets the pre season under him and his fitness is top notch, we will see him back to his best.

He's a very good player, I was at Reading when he destroyed them ...

... he may have lost his way but he hasn't lost his talent.
