Selling clarke to improve the whole team is cracking management

Ipswich appointed an unreal head coach, thats what the owner did well but theyve also made a lot of mistakes

Not sure how they had balls n we didnt btw, they didnt spend loads to get promoted. They just landed on an unreal manager - hopefully weve done the same
It is if you get his market value. £15m is desperation.

50 years a supporter but whatever.

we are all fans but some of us need to take off some of our red n white tinted glasses.

It’s a message board. Praise the owners when they make good decisions of course but selling the best player in the championship for £15m is very poor business. We are in this position because we are desperate for cash to sign a striker in a position we have desperately needed for 18 months.

Based on nothing but your ill informed opinion and guesswork. The only part of that I agree with is we have needed a striker.

We didn't take the first offer. Rejected Lazio in January and Southampton and Ipswich earlier this summer. That isn't including bids we know nothing about.
If you are happy with£15m fair enough. I just think it’s way below his value.

we needed the owners to have some balls and find the money to buy a couple of strikers without selling Clarke on the cheap because we were desperate for the cash.

Exactly mate. Man for man I’d have our squad (fully fit) over theirs last season.

Had we had Regis or McKenna then would be very different picture.

That’s one thing the ownership group did **** up. The managerial moves.

They swiftly and brutally corrected their error and sacked him.

And some of us need to stop moaning about the bcb fiasco or the 18 months without a striker. It's gone now we have 2 possibly 3 forwards coming in that all together make us a better team than with Jack Clarke in it. Yes he was brilliant for us but just let it go mate and get behind the club instead of slagging them. We can't change what's happened but we can help with what we are doing now.

Some people make me laugh, they expect the owner to spend loads of money. Then, when we sell a player, they complain it’s not enough, as if it’s their money being lost. I’m not saying the price is right or wrong, but it’s a good profit from what we paid for him. If Jack was worth more, I think the top clubs would have been interested. Even mid-table teams haven’t shown interest, which says something. I love Clarke like every Sunderland fan, but maybe we overvalue our players.

Bleating on that we need to sell. We sell. They moan.

It's the same lot who criticise the club for trying to get good value in signings (why wait, just pay the cash etc) who are now complaining about a tr
No competent striker for 18 months, humiliating your support and selling your best player for relative peanuts. Aye great management that.

I thought you weren't going to post any more.

Once again, name me a non parachute payment club that is spending without selling please. It isn't happening anymore. The days of owner funded clubs are long gone (rightly so). Look at the mags, they are state funded and have barely spent a penny this summer.
He won't answer direct questions mate, smugs asked him 2 that he's ignored.

You’re right there

Some right cock suckers despite the BCB shambles.
So because people don’t see everything the same as you, they are “ cock suckers”. Honestly **** like this makes us look like right whoppers man. Must be the only club that ****s and cries when their club sells a player. The BCB was a joke but it’s in the past and people have apologised and we move on.

There’s nothing to gain from holding a grudge.

We sell but at the right price. Responding to learned people like yourself.
