It is if you get his market value. £15m is desperation.

We didn't take the first offer. Rejected Lazio in January and Southampton and Ipswich earlier this summer. That isn't including bids we know nothing about.

Based on nothing but your ill informed opinion and guesswork. The only part of that I agree with is we have needed a striker.

If you are happy with£15m fair enough. I just think it’s way below his value.

we needed the owners to have some balls and find the money to buy a couple of strikers without selling Clarke on the cheap because we were desperate for the cash.

Exactly mate. Man for man I’d have our squad (fully fit) over theirs last season.

Had we had Regis or McKenna then would be very different picture.

That’s one thing the ownership group did **** up. The managerial moves.

They swiftly and brutally corrected their error and sacked him.

How is it desperation? Just because you dont think its a good deal, its higher than most wingers in the league have gone for. Only summervilla higher and hes a better player

Once again, name me a non parachute payment club that is spending without selling please. It isn't happening anymore. The days of owner funded clubs are long gone (rightly so). Look at the mags, they are state funded and have barely spent a penny this summer.

Youve been on here long enough to know most have had a right go at the owners n KS over the last 12 months

But most are also positives at times as well

And some of us need to stop moaning about the bcb fiasco or the 18 months without a striker. It's gone now we have 2 possibly 3 forwards coming in that all together make us a better team than with Jack Clarke in it. Yes he was brilliant for us but just let it go mate and get behind the club instead of slagging them. We can't change what's happened but we can help with what we are doing now.

Bleating on that we need to sell. We sell. They moan.

It's the same lot who criticise the club for trying to get good value in signings (why wait, just pay the cash etc) who are now complaining about a tr

All of us can only go off what is reported but of course that doesn’t fit. If it is £15m it is too low.

So because people don’t see everything the same as you, they are “ cock suckers”. Honestly **** like this makes us look like right whoppers man. Must be the only club that ****s and cries when their club sells a player. The BCB was a joke but it’s in the past and people have apologised and we move on.

There’s nothing to gain from holding a grudge.

I agree. But even if the speculation is accurate, it’s £20milliin plus a sell on fee.

But it's not £15m, you're purposely ignoring the add ons and also no one has a clue what the fee is so you're arguing the toss about something you don't know
