I'd have preferred more but if 15m today helps us improve the team before the windows ends, 15m today is better than 20-25 on deadline day when it is too late.
Some people make me laugh, they expect the owner to spend loads of money. Then, when we sell a player, they complain it’s not enough, as if it’s their money being lost. I’m not saying the price is right or wrong, but it’s a good profit from what we paid for him. If Jack was worth more, I think the top clubs would have been interested. Even mid-table teams haven’t shown interest, which says something. I love Clarke like every Sunderland fan, but maybe we overvalue our players.
