Think i'd like us to go for Kelvin Ehibhatiomhan at Reading. Not sure how popular it would be within the fanbase due to his goal return and not exactly being experienced but I really like him.

6ft4, quick, can hold the ball and is a good ball carrier. Shot monster and has good shot placement, just needs to add some consistency in front of goal. Has played a decent amount being used as a target man wide on the left (like a certain Ross Stewart was at Ross County) but has played through the middle a lot as well.

Has deficiencies, mainly his link play and just general consistency of performance but I think he'd be a good signing.

Scored again today alongside an assist.

Not to me. I know people will just see a goalscorer and say we need goals though.

It sounds daft but a 12 goal striker who runs the channels and can hold the ball would be a better signing for us than a 20 goal striker who stays in the box.

Thats maybe why we looked at him but didnt pursue as didnt think he fitted us.

I get it, were trying to get the right fit, where previously we would have just gone & signed him regardless.....but its got everyone on proper edge we dont get the right one over the line before window closes
