Blackburn have signed 3 strikers already. They have Gueye, the Japanese lad that is scoring and a 19 year old. They also signed Weimann who can play there

I did get to thinking, if we value Mendy at a million, then clearly we don’t think he’s great.

A million is ****ing peanuts. Surely a lad with 60 in 3 seasons has gotta be worth treble that.

The reason for the price is based on the fact he is in the last year of his contract and will be available on a free next year (I also thinknhe can sign pre contracts for any club outside of France in Jan transfer window) the price does not reflect his value due to this.

All day....so basically secure a price for him this window .....or he will leave on a free....oh & after whats gone on/been said they may well pay his wages for a year without him playing.....there are calculated reasons why we have set the value we have

My take is it has grown in stature every year. There's some crazy levels of talent, I think the average level of talent is probably insane compared to 10 years ago. They get a lot of young South Americans over there and the North American lads are developing well too. I think quality wise, there might be more in USA. But France might be a better place to adapt from. I haven't watched MLS since god knows when.
