Nantes should have been the game to reward members. Either let them in free or give them a free drink on the concourse. Everyone else pays £5 Adult and £1 kids.I think the club has really devalued the friendlies this season
Like they can’t be arsed and the fans have thought likewise
Upper Tier could have been used for the Community with Schools, Community Centres, Youth Clubs etc all being able to get tickets free.
The likely stewarding costs would be a drop in the ocean to Acun but a big crowd ahead of a new season with a good performance could be crucial to selling more memberships. Its the School holidays, families are looking for low cost ways to entertain their kids. I put it in the whats app group of the football team I coach and every player but one (they are on holiday to be fair otherwise he would ahve eben there too) is now coming with at least one parent so there are about 30 of us there Saturday in E10.
As Chazz said there is a 'cant be arsed' vibe around this game.
