Agreed it should be like a fun family day Which certainly doesn’t appeal to me but for the wider audience that’s what was needed Maybe a lot of the commercial staff etc are on holiday before season starts?

It's such a good move for the lad. Shelbourne have knack all out wide and they lack directness and struggle to score goals. The physicality of the league isn't horrendous either, certainly not the slug fest that L2 is.
I’d be a bit miffed as well if I supported a club that was considered the side piece in a multi-club ownership situation.
