As per usual, you're wrong.

The only bit done is that a fee has been agreed and probably terms in principle. Chelsea could accept another 6 offers and he's free to speak to everyone and decide where he wants to go.

It's completely up to Baxter where he ends up next. The only way it wouldn't be is if there was an obligation to buy.

Whether you are right or wrong, that's by the by, you cannot spout your opinion as fact whilst slipping the word "probably" in there.
It kind of defeats the object of what you're trying to say

Includes the following from Acun:
Ilicali told Hull Live last week. "We have one more month after the season starts until the transfer window closes and we will check, we will listen to our coach and see what he wants. I must thank Shota for his support in the summer, he's the one who always approves our transfers. We will listen to him and if he wants some more transfers, we will do what he wants.

So, that hopefully puts to bed at least one load of negative BS some have been spouting!

Just telling us what we want to hear. Classic media mogul tactic. Clusterfuck.

He’s nowhere near good enough to be Chelsea’s number 1
No idea how long his contract is with Chelsea but he’s going to come to a cross roads sooner or later and he needs to decide if he wants a permanent move and be a number one keeper at a club who wants him.

Agreed, I was just pointing out that Chelsea wouldn't have to offer him £300k a week to get him to stay, he'd stay whatever they offered him.

My thinking too John, not sure why the suggestion we might sell Ingram was met with such a strong reaction last night as it seems quite a logical step.

I just feel it will be more his choice if he is not getting game time. He's a good keeper and deserves to be playing regularly, he may be happy to fight for his place, but maybe not.

We're sill trying to agree a deal for an attacking Premier League loan player, but the defensive Premier League loan is off, as we failed to agree terms (we've moved on to other targets and Acun had a discussion with a player yesterday afternoon).

Thought the attacking player (no10) was a permanent deal? Unless this is in addition to... Which seems a bit overkill

Nothing from nothing. Ask Billy Preston. Don't think Tom Huddlestone would have reached that level of afro. Great bopping song.

So you're suggesting we've agreed terms in principle but that he'd go elsewhere? <doh>

Can you provide an example of this ever happening where a club had an option to buy, triggered it, and then didn't sign the player?

Of course it's up to Baxter ffs. As I've said repeatedly "IF THE HE WANTS TO COME". I don't know how many more ways I have to emphasise that.

You've literally just asked for an example where a club has agreed a fee, agreed terms in principle yet the player goes elsewhere. It's not uncommon

We agreed terms with Twine yet he went elsewhere, same with Muriqi by the sounds and I'm sure plenty more this summer.

I think if we can get Lo-Tutala across the line we don’t need an attacking player, better to focus on a right back and a combative midfielder IMO.

Nothing I said there was my opinion.

I think we'll sign Baxter permanently but it's not a guarantee and while the option makes it easier, it's not a certainty.

If he has a really good season, I think Chelsea will seriously consider about making him their no.2

Didn’t realise Twine and Muriqi were on loan here last season? Must be why they didn’t sign as they never got to play?

Why does that matter? The deal is the same. We've agreed a fee for Baxter 12 months in advance. That should make him more likely to stay as he likes it here but if Chelsea want him or a PL club offers to make him their no.1, he won't be staying.

It's the same issue we've literally had with Allahyar, he played well on loan and got a better financial offer elsewhere. If he wanted to take it, he wouldn't have stayed. And that's with Acun best mates with the Fenerbahce owner.
