The discussion is around making a loan transfer with an option to buy permanent. Read the conversation leading up to it for context.

Funny. Sydney liked that and he was the one having to backtrack a while ago because he replies to the last post not ones before it.<laugh>

I think we will see an improvement in players already at the club as they get more experience and better coaching, also playing with better players. Docherty and ingram among others could well surprise a few. I thought ingram was excellent on saturday.
Agree with this. Over on Twitter they're getting power -crazed, upset we haven't had a new signing in at least 5 days now... Obviously we won't get every player we go for, and we already have a decent squad. Same team again on Saturday would be fine by me, although wonder if Elder will come in for Smith and move Allahyar up front.

Bit naive if you think tapping up isn't commonplace. Conversations happen and fees are suggested off the record. Parent clubs often even accept it as establishing market value - that and they're likely doing the same thing themselves.
Naive maybe but still enough in that post to suggest a breach of the rules has taken place and Boro have acted illegally. I'm not sure Mark would thank someone for putting it in black and white on a forum the Club are likely to have someone reading.

This makes perfect sense - not that Smith did anything wrong, Allahyar just offers so much more of a threat in the form of harassing defenders.
I always thought Elder looked more suited to a wingback role rather than an out and out left back.

Includes the following from Acun:
Ilicali told Hull Live last week. "We have one more month after the season starts until the transfer window closes and we will check, we will listen to our coach and see what he wants. I must thank Shota for his support in the summer, he's the one who always approves our transfers. We will listen to him and if he wants some more transfers, we will do what he wants.

So, that hopefully puts to bed at least one load of negative BS some have been spouting!
Too many on here don’t let the truth get in the way of a good story!!!!

I agree with you, but his points were valid about Cartwright/Baxter I doubt after reading some of your points in return after about the lads potential etc he would decide to persist with saying we shouldn’t sign him.

By Syd disagreeing we’ve learnt more about the kid so win win for the board

I don't mind the discussions at all. It's when it all goes tits up and never ending then it gets dragged up again and again and goes in circles. He said she said.

Anyway on the Subject of Jacob Greaves tell him he ought to be ashamed LOL - went to Shrewsbury when we won 2-0 I recall and his dad got crocked but played on - and after the match he virtually got carried to the car for his lift home I think it was John Eyres dads car. Club couldn’t do much in the way of coaches then no money ! We’ve come a long way I’m sure this is behind his dads influence hopefully - but money talks
