I’m just gonna go ahead and say it.

We’ve had Brentford’s pants down.

Keane Lewis Potter is not a £20m player.
He’s not a £16m player. To be honest, I would have snapped their hand off at £7m!
He goes missing.
When he’s good he’s very good, but that is nowhere near as often as some of you are portraying.
He’s not a patch on Bowen.
He doesn’t have Bowen’s work-rate.

He has simply been a slightly sparkly stone in a pile of ****. The bar was not set that high.

That being said, he’s got his move, he’s set up for life (providing he doesn’t have a brainfart). Good luck to the lad.

There we go.

I feel better now.

How can I like this more than once? Mods?

100% this.

I do like KLP, good player but he's not a Bowen - I just don't see KLP as a future International player... Which is why I have no issue with him taking his chance now and if he's got a 6 year deal earning a Premier league wage all the power to him and if he proves me wrong I'll be over the moon for him!

Very happy with the fee, happy for him, don't give a **** about Brentford so whatever.

This. Good luck to him but **** Brentford, we’ve got the better deal imo.

You could also argue it’s much harder to shine in a poor team. Which he did as a relative rookie. I think the price is right for an attacking left sided player that contributes goals and assists.

Spurs are trying to sign Djed Spence for £20m - A right back. That’s the market for stand out Championship players.

The UK football market has been overpriced for years. Average players along with clever agents have been taking the pizz for years. Perhaps that’s the reason certainly in part why the Big Turk is currently raiding the Turkish/European market.

Value for money these days is a godsend.

Still would've been good to see him playing for us this year surrounded by the standard of player we're hopefully bringing in.

He'd get a lot more space if teams had to worry about marking other players than just him!

I agree, I’d rather have seen him stay another season. Just to see how he played with better players around him. I’m sure he’d have got a better offer than Brentford. I hope he’s negotiating a relegation release clause into this 6 year contract.

I just remembered a moment yesterday when he had 2 or 3 Fenerbahçe players around him and he held the ball up like prime Zlatan lmao. He’s deceivingly strong for his age and physique.
He was pushing them all over the place, strong boy that…

True but there's always the chance of a poor season, an injury etc.

Feel like you've always got to take your chance in football - he might've waited a year and suddenly Brentford are bidding 25mil for Ally instead! (we'd reject anyway as we'll need him in Europe after we beat Arsenal in the league FA Cup final)

I am a complete downer, a pessimist, a sly type of guy who likes money for myself. I don't have any love of football at all and want to treat it as a business for my own personal gain. What league my team is in is irrelevant, just show me the money. To amuse myself, I will change the club name, the fans (******s who don't understand business and have s..t for brains) can go and die for all I care.

This folks is where we were at up to a few months ago...now we are playing pre-season friendlies against Champions League opposition in front of 25K in their country. We are bringing in some exciting new talent.

So, can we go back to Assem & Ehab please, to ensure that the future is downward and toxic - it suits my personality ..fatalism and we are not good enough...sit about in the pub talking about Waggy and Chillo and the good old days.

This Acun guy is too much for me. Grey skies and s..t footie in the lower leagues is the tried and trusted familiarity I crave. Acun out...optimism is too Yankie for me...hovis and bovril are my comforts and a bucket load of negativity. When I go to church, its for funerals, love them. Please come back Assem & boy wonder...bring us back to the dark side.

There’s always a chance brentford suffer second season syndrome.

Schweppes bitter lemon anyone.

Brentford….Perfect move for the bloke.

You’ll see…

Allam’s GONE.

Theyll suffer from it without a doubt, by no means does it mean they'll go down but they'll struggle.

Their signings aren't there to really push on. They're in a really difficult predicament as the type of signings they've made in the past can't be made any more.

The new work permit rules **** them quite a bit as well. Shopping in Scandinavia is much tougher now and they can't take players from Ligue 2 etc either.

This. Outside the top two, the players I saw last season that were as good as or better than KLP can be counted on one hand. Brennan Johnson for sure, Moore when he was at Cardiff, Brereton for a few weeks. Not many others.

Good luck to him. I like the look of his replacement.

Sounds like you’ve had a couple of litres of vodka with your bitter lemon.

Incoherent as ever.

Not that old chestnut.

You don’t like a different opinion do you…

Enlighten the board why Brentford are going down big dog.

Drum roll…

Allam’s GONE.
