Why would we count Giles? He was with us last season so not an addition to counteract the mass exodus.

It would have been good to have seen some of those coming in last week or even this week, but IF they happen then that would be welcome (stating the obvious!)

Because we signed him, if we hadn't signed him, he wouldn't be here.

No, he isn't a striker though, he's a winger.

And contrary to what Baz said, we have held talks with him. Haven't heard much about it since like, so I don't know if that one is going to happen imminently but there was interest on both sides.

We've had to clear out a few times for various reasons.

In 2022/23 we lost Honeyman, Moncur, Eaves, Huddlestone, Smallwood, KLP, and Wilks. Which doesn't sound like many but those lads were first team players (maybe generous with Moncur).

In 21/22 we shipped out De Wijs, Burke, Long, Samuelsen, Scott, Flores, Mayer and in January, Magennis. We signed Baxter, Longman, Bernard, Smith, Cannon, Williams and Thudd. It wasn't an inspiring window.
 
It was every summer for a while after coming down from the Premier League, which led to our impeding relegation that would’ve happened a lot sooner if it wasn’t for Bowen
