Totally agree with this. There is a player in him.As a long term critic of his im actually excited to see what Slater can do when he’s allowed to just do what he’s good at and not forced to try do things he isn’t

Modern life.Totally agree with this. There is a player in him.
I don’t understand all this ffp etc, 35 million is cheap for the pair. So far it appears Ipswich are the only ones that have made an offer, are they rated at more than 35 million outside of Hull?
The problem is we have a massive rebuild on our hands, we can hold out for more, and risk not getting more. In the meantimes we lose out on targets and don’t have enough money to fund the rebuild. If 35 is the only offer, our need for players might mean we have to accept it.
Don't give 'them' ideas.I understand that there are imaginative ways of helping with this FFP limits. Roman Abramovich apparently bought a season ticket each year for a £1m.
I also wouldn't be enormously surprised if Ingram is his number 1.

According the the HDM, Middlesborough are in for Giles

Alarm bells have to start ringing now with Giles apparently now departing if true. Club listing as an option but Baz saying still it’s an obligation. Our only signing supposedly heading out and the club aren’t being transparent despite Acun saying he prefers being open.
If we sell our biggest assets to go into this window late and relying on high profile loans again I’ll be really questioning the long term goals of the club.
Any club can bid for any of our players, the club are neither required to make those details public, nor should they (we haven't actually received a bid yet according to Baz). If it's a good offer and the player wants to go, then he will, if it's not or he doesn't want to go, then he won't. This threads going to have plenty of in and outs over the next couple of months.
If we make noise about signing Giles just to flog him to Boro I will be gobsmacked. Even more so if we let him go for anything less than 5m, he’s signed a 4 year deal ffs.
Boro fans think the fee is £2m
There's literally no way we have bought an attacking left back who gets loads of assists and fits into the new manager's system for £4m and then sell him a few weeks later during the off season for £2m.
If that is true that’s ****ing absurd
No more absurd than selling Tufan for £1.7m
