Out of that list I’d take Niasse, although even if he was the same as when he was on loan, if he still has the pace, not sure if our system would be good for him.
I read the other day Welbeck was released by Watford as well, snapped up by Brighton.
Mendez Liang seems to ring a bell too about him being a decent player.<confused>

Mendez-Liang had his contract terminated with immediate effect at Cardiff and nobody seems to know why, it was an odd one.

Wilson was great for us, but when I've seen him in the Prem it's been a totally different player.
I wouldn't say trash, but.....he hasn't been good.
Free kick merchant in Bournemouth, didn't do much else

Might not be that bad for him to try life in The Championship again, get that confidence back

There are reasons those "names" are without a club...

1.Current financial climate
2.Value players rate themselves being at odds with climate
3.Players shown little motivation at their last clubs, so released

Barmby aside, which "name" did we bring in that fully paid off...?
Ben Arfa
Danny Graham

Koren was a freebie. What an outstanding asset he was to the club as well.

The midfield in 2012-13 was great. Koren, Quinn, Meyler, Evans etc. in their prime were all superior to Stewart, Lopes, Irvine and Batty. The midfield last season weren't even that bad in terms of talent; they just didn't have any fight in them at all, which is why I was happy when we signed someone like Smallwood.

I agree, I certainly would trust Henriksen's word against our owners.
While I wouldn’t trust our owners I certainly wouldn’t take the word of a bitter ex player
Who we paid royally and then he thought he could get more! ****e at Bristol. How did that turn out for him? Back in Norway on next to **** all now. no he won’t be bitter
No bitterness
