West Ham have signed Algeria winger Said Benrahma from Brentford in a deal that could rise to £30m. Benrahma, 25, joins on loan for £5m but the Hammers have an obligation to make the transfer permanent for £20m, with a further £5m possible in add-ons. He completed the first part of his medical on Thursday but an issue had arisen, which was resolved in time for the deal to go ahead on Friday. Benrahma said he had joined a "massive" and "historic" club in West Ham.
I seem to remember Ehab failing to send a deal sheet in correctly for a French midfielder we were trying to sign when Marco Silva was manager.
As it turned out, he's a bit crap. He now plays for a newly promoted side in Turkey. He managed four appearances in Spain for Mallorca, before terminating his contract.

I'd missed that David Marshall had moved to Derby. I would love Tom Huddlestone back, though that will never happen. Interesting to see Irvine and Stewart still trying to find another club.
