I can, where was Da Silva during the last seven or eight games of the season when we wanted battlers fighting for the shirt ?*
Kev from Coro,
(no idea where coro is, a soap street maybe)
Don't blame Da Silva for wanting to be away. He's got potential but he observed the rest of the team give up towards the end of last season and then so did he. The new season has all the signs of starting the way the last one finished. What has happened in the meantime to change GM from a totally incompetent loser into a 'winner'? Other than spouting the same old guff, the answer is NOTHING. GM would put a positive spin on having a dose of Covid.
This is a comment on a Hull City vs Sunderland thread.
cannot argue with Kev from Coro really, can you..
Has the potential to be a decent player but probably thinks he's better than he is at this stage of his career? More than likely that he's not overly enamoured with the size of his pay packet..Of course he wants to leave, why on earth wouldn't he?

The lad can play, so why didn't he show it when it mattered ?
Instead he went through the motions, took his money, and now wants to be away.
Good riddance.
Good riddance to all of our players who can actually play footballI can, where was Da Silva during the last seven or eight games of the season when we wanted battlers fighting for the shirt ?

Good riddance to every lad who can play.
And any player that can't command a good wage packet?Has the potential to be a decent player but probably thinks he's better than he is at this stage of his career? More than likely that he's not overly enamoured with the size of his pay packet..
Any player that truly wants to leave should do just that!!
Let's see who comes in for him and whether the valuation is met before we decide whether he can command a good wage? And any player that can't command a good wage packet?
That's because they're not very good.
It's ****, I know. But that's the way of things now.
I think Ehab assumes every signing on the cheap will turn a massive profit like those threeWhat, like Andy Robertson, Jarrod Bowen, Sam Clucas....?

I was addressing a point about signing nobodies. I can guarantee that most hardened City supporter would have had to look Robbo up, when it was announced.Andy Robertson came to us as a full Scotland international, who’s just been named PFA Young Scotland Player Of The Year, he was hardly an unknown.
Could be Kevin Webster from Corrie , owns the garage with Tyrone, used to be married to Sally but that ended when he banged Molly.Obviously I don't watch it but this is what I've heard...
WTF is he doing commenting about us? He supports Weatherfield County!!
Agreed.I was addressing a point about signing nobodies. I can guarantee that most hardened City supporter would have had to look Robbo up, when it was announced.
Counter this, how many "somebodies" have we signed that have ended up being ****e....
More costly and far more disappointing.
"Names" in football are irrelevant....
Agreed.
Outside of lower level Scottish team fans, maybe a couple of Scottish pro scouts, and one who shopped him around to English clubs, no-one even in Scotland would have any knowledge of the lad. The fact that he was a smart lad, and very decent player, was what made him get out of the nobody category. We (HCAFC) took a punt on a nobody and it worked. If my memory serves me well - we either sent a scout up there once (or got wind of him from a local scout) to watch him play for Dundee Utd ! Robbo's determination made the difference .
He played for Scotland, won PFA Scotland Player Of The Year and was in SPL Team Of The Season and you think no-one in Scotland had heard of him?
The original point was how many City fans had heard of him. Which would have been very, very few if any.
A Celtic youth reject who played for Queens Park and then Dundee United. I would say very few fans were aware. Not nobody. He played for Scotland, won PFA Scotland Player Of The Year and was in SPL Team Of The Season and you think no-one in Scotland had heard of him?
"Scottish Young Player of the Year" at Queens Park. On the tip of everyone's tongue. He played for Scotland, won PFA Scotland Player Of The Year and was in SPL Team Of The Season and you think no-one in Scotland had heard of him?
I've heard we've got a bid in for Tommy Orpington
