Yeah hes flushed his career down the ****ter.

He could have played at Real Madrid Barca or Bayern Munich next season. Could have won a world cup. Now he's not even allowed to set foot in a football stadium.

World class player, world class twat.

So if he or the Uruguayans appeal does that mean the punishment can be increased if they fail? - if that is so could the the initial leniency may have been made that way that they're giving him more rope to hang himself if he appeals ?

I can't see there being an appeal tbh.

If Uruguay were to win through, with a player who's been banned, the World Cup would be a farce.

Besides, there's absolutely no basis for an appeal, he's obviously 100% guilty.

He couldn't be more guilty if he'd left one of his teeth in the lad's shoulder.

i would agree if it was his first offence. but he has previous history of this kind of **** and is just a horrible human being. to try and bite an opponant in a sporting event on the field of play is a disgrace. he has already done it domesticly in both our and the dutch league, now he has disgraced himself again on the world stage. also his previous with the racism thing against evra just shows what a dispicable person he is and all of this should have been taken into account

I'm sure FIFA have simply looked after their own doorstep mate.

They'd got rid of the problem without attracting any massive opposition for being too harsh.

They'll be hoping that everyone will now forget about Suarez and concentrate on the World Cup.

That's exactly what I'll be doing so it's starting to work <ok>

Me too mate, just think its a disgrace that this clown gets paid millions to do a job we would all love to have (as long as it wasnt playing for the bin dippers), and all he can do is cheat, assault, racially abuse and make himself out a general twat. If we had pulled off one of those offences we would be looking at charges but this clown gets a ban and continues to be paid his obscene wages while being banned. Totally wrong IMO

I would have banned him for life. I would have taken his footballing livelihood away. It's not the first or second but the third time he has been caught doing this.
The man should have a criminal record for what he's done. Ffs blokes have done time for things like this.

He should have his teeth removed without anaesthetic with a pair of pliers in the centre of the pitch as the pre World Cup final entertainment.
A complete bell end almost on a John Terry scale.

Few rumours kicking about saying that Uruguay will refuse to play the game against Colombia if Suarez isnt allowed to play

****ing disgrace that given it was a blatent, underhand attack on an opponent. then they have the cheek to come out and say there isnt enough evidence and its all cos of a vendetta by the british media. maybe if he wasnt a dispicable human being the media wouldnt care but this clown just keeps handing the media ammunition
