Were talking about bans he should be sent down if I bit someone out on the street they would bang me up for assault. So whats the difference apart from him being a multi million pound footballer its a f**king joke. Life ban and he should of got and 6 months inside

If you faced a Judge in the dock for a third time for biting someone you'd get a custodial sentence, may not be long but you'd go down like.

One difference is that the Italian lad wouldn't press charges, or pursue the matter, because there's a mutual respect in the game.

Suarez knows that and, because he's a snake, uses it to his own benefit.

Despite 100% denying biting Chiellini you can guarantee 100% that, at some point, he'll apologise for biting him.

I'm not disagreeing with you Billy, just saying that lifetime bans, if that's what you mean by Sine Die, will only be given for off field offences.

Sine Die actually means an indeterminate period which they obviously can't impose.

As far as biting a man in a pub is concerned that's a slightly different matter as it's in the public domain.

If a player left the field to bite a spectator it would become a clearer criminal offence.

Where you have a contact sport, where injuries are commonplace, it's a diifferent scenario.

Amazing footballer which makes it even worse for me, I think he should have been fined 95% of all earnings for the next 5 years, that would hurt a greedy footballer more than anything.

Its almost impossible to get hiv from a bite and very rare to get any of the other diseases mentioned, but lets say one of the people he bit did catch hiv from him? should the punishment be even worse. You can't get hiv from someone punching you.
