Only just heard his full interview with RH. Honest words, took a lot of responsibility and praised the fans, finally.
take a look around, if Brucie wants to stay and has the appetite for it then for me there are no better options at present, the guy took us to our best position last year in he premier league, and a first ever FA cup final, the season before he took us up automatically, the first and only manager in our history to achieve this into the top flight. He has been badly let down by some of the senior players who need to take a look at themselves (Thudd, Livermore, Davis and Macgregor I really hope your reading this), then hit by injuries at crucial times of the season. For me if the man still has the appetite for the job then he stays.
You should do one for this ridiculous thread.
The front two won't be here. They are probably packing now.We won't have many foreigners in the squad. If Bruce can have this as a team next season I'd be happy
McGregor
Rosenior McShane Maguire Robertson
Elmo Diame Quinn Brady
Hernandez N'Doye
aw take off the rose tinted specs man!
SB did great THEN but this is NOW. Totally devoid of ideas!
oh I get it, if you had your way we would have PB at the helm.
LVG still thinks you're amazing though patty.Pattie, for clarity, when SB praised the supporters he didn't mean you. He thinks you're a ****.
And irrelevantBruce has a good record for getting clubs out the Championship, so I can see why people would want him to stay.
On the other hand, he's been absolutely rubbish for over a year and if he does get us back up, I don't think he's good enough to manage in the Premier League, so we're just delaying the problem.
I'm largely indifferent.
I'm going to jump on this for two reasons.Bruce should go, poor team selection and dreadful tackticle know how in the home games against Leicester & Burnley let us down. We should have attacked from the start with our best forwards in both games, both winnable games and we were crap. A win in these games and we would have been safe now.
well why dont we let him takes us up and then sack himBruce has a good record for getting clubs out the Championship, so I can see why people would want him to stay.
On the other hand, he's been absolutely rubbish for over a year and if he does get us back up, I don't think he's good enough to manage in the Premier League, so we're just delaying the problem.

take robertson, brady and chester out of the team and were a pretty old bunch. you go through the first team players agesWe need a clear out. Keep some, sure, but some of the original bunch from our last promotion are not the future, they're the past.
We need a more youthful team, with Daws as Captain, keep Elmo, Greegsy is fine for goal, hang on to Robertson, Brady, Chester if we can, tell them a season winning games on slightly less money then a promotion is more fun than a season struggling at the bottom of the PL again with another team.
