I do find it quite amazing that quotes such as `who did we beat to get to the cup final` still appear, we beat who were put in front of us, if you have actually watched hull city for more then one season you`ll realise that many of his forerunners played lower league opposition and got their arses spanked, the fact remains that he guided us to the final, and our best league position. As for being sentimental .. its called being realistic, just who are we going to get in that is actually better then what we have. Pep ?, Jose ? or wouldn`t they be good enough either, oh and btw `freshan` must be a new word in the dictionary, and `been` really should be `being` if your referring to my current state. Thanks all the same for your comments
I was impressed that Bruce openly took the blame, not all managers that. But he can't compensate when Hernandez misses a sitter like today, and that's happened time and time again
I hope Steve Bruce stays...he has a great record of getting clubs promoted from the championship to the premier league.. Has anyone done better ? Players have let him down at times. As long as we are called Hull City I will go what ever league we are in like alot of us will. I had a great day today watching Hull City as I always do. The juniors are looking forward to going to new grounds next season and just maybe we will get automatic promotion or win the play offs I bloody hate the end of the season. Bloody cricket and tennis. Argghhh Roll on next August..
Bruce should **** off and take his son with him - we're playing MK Dons next season because of them - Macca performance today showed exactly what we've been missing most of the season because Brucie preferred to pick clodhopper and feather his nest rather than pick Macca who ended up on the naughty step training with the Juniors instead
He takes us up gets to a cup final ( he's the best manager we've ever had), a year later he takes us down (get rid of him) amazing how quickly some fans opinions change that's life I suppose. If he does stay and takes us back up again we can all say he's the best manager we have ever had again.
it`s known as the wonderful world of fickle fans !, we laugh, we cry and yet we always come back for more
No - he's just one of 11 players on the pitch, unfortunately he's the worst we have by a racing mile and for some reason his dad kept picking him - today more than any proved that Macca would have been a much better option rather than putting him on the naughty step, not even putting him on the bench and making him train with the juniors
Alex isn't the reason we've been relagated. The reasons are many. Singling out Bruce jnr as the main reason is just daft.
Bruce has played well all season, unfortunately we got relegated with Mcshane in the team so your comment makes no sense. Not a knock at Macca but him and Bruce never let the side down and are well matched in ability
Bruce should go, poor team selection and dreadful tackticle know how in the home games against Leicester & Burnley let us down. We should have attacked from the start with our best forwards in both games, both winnable games and we were crap. A win in these games and we would have been safe now.
Hope he stays, though if he's had enough I don't blame him. We need continuity, not a complete rebuild.
i said a while ago, bruce should have gone but now bruce i really hope he stays, it's such a different feeling to our last relegation our fans were incredible, singing bruces name even when relegation was confirmed
