Tadanari dropped even further down the pecking order again?

Give them both a shot against Yeovil?

Am I crazy for thinking Billy could actually be in with a shot at playing in the league if Rickie doesn't improve?

Yeah, if we're paying him proper money, I might even start Sharp against Yeovil. It would probably suit him.

Playing any significant time? I doubt it. Only 12 goals in his 49 league appearances on loan with Forest/Reading since we reached the Prem...I'd rather give Gallagher the minutes, if it comes down to it.

If he had done a bit more at Reading he could have (he was injured to be fair). I think Gallagher will stay as 4th choice for now. I'm sure his agent is looking for a new club anyway.

Assuming we rest Rickie and Osvaldo, Rodriguez could play on the wing and Sharp up top. I'd rather Gallagher started though.

Unless there is a miracle of Puncheon proportions, I can't see Sharp playing for us again.

So is Puncheon still signing for Palace after that penalty miss? <eek>

Yeah, I think you've done a very unusual thing indeed like adding 2 and 2 together and coming up with 5. To push the analogy a bit further, in a world of quantum mechanics it may well be possible, but in good ol' arithmetical terms, unlikely.

Lets be honest, Sharp is still a better player than Gallagher at the moment. So it would seem obvious to put Billy in if we're not going to buy any player in January.

Le Fondre is off to Leeds apparently. So can't see Sharp staying.

Makes sense with McDermott being there.

How do you know? Have you seen a lot of both of them in the Premier League?

Quite obvious really. Sharp has scored 145 professional goals, over 300 appearances. Gallagher is still a teenager. There's no point playing a youth player just for the sake of it.

I don't disagree with you, but I think Poch has him in the squad because he thinks he is good enough.
