Depends how good the youngster is.
True, but surely you can't think Gallagher is better than a proven goal scorer like Sharp? Gallagher has hardly kicked a ball for the first tam.

I don't disagree with you, but I think Poch has him in the squad because he thinks he is good enough.

Nor has Sharp in the Prem. Who knows if he would cut it?

That's OK we 'll have him then.
Moyes may not have been scouting him, but if he was, apparently he doesn't want Astori now anyway!

Not sure now...if he's not good enough for United he can hardly be good enough for us![]()

Southampton will look to land either of Chelsea duo Victor Moses or Marko Marin in the summer according to Sports Direct News.
St Mary’s boss Mauricio Pochettino is keen to land one of the two wingers as he prepares to cash-in on Jason Puncheon, who is on loan at Crystal Palace, and Italian Gaston Ramirez.
Nigerian international Moses is on loan at Liverpool but has barely featured and is likely to see even less first team action on his return to Stamford Bridge and therefore a move to Southampton could well tempt the 23 year old, who has made just six Premier League starts this term.
Marko Marin is on loan at La Liga side Sevilla and much like Moses the German has struggled to secure regular first team football with only five of his domestic league appearances being starts.
The flying pint sized attacker is similarly unlikely to be part of Jose Mourinho’s plans and again may feel that a move to the South Coast could reinvigorate his career.
Southampton’s chances of landing either of the pair could depend on just how well they finish the current campaign. Pochettino’s side started with a flyer and were in or around the six for much of the first few months of the season but have since hit an inconsistent spell of form and now sit in ninth spot.
Saints have looked at Eric Dier of Sporting Lisbon, they scouted him before they went to scout the Benfica vs Porto match.
