Might take the day off work tomorrow to search out the 'no better than Bazunu' comments we had on here after his first couple of games :bandit:
I must admit to having misgivings initially with there being a few sharp intake of breath moments. Now I'm a believer, what a keeper in our side. There is a buy option for €8 million according to reports on his loan signing.
"Key Details of the Loan and Option:
Club: Southampton FC.
Buy Option Price: Approximately €8 million (according to Get German Football News, Bavarian Football Works, Daily Echo, fcbinside.com, and Bavarian Football Works)
Loan Fee: €400,000 (according to Get German Football News, Bavarian Football Works, and Bavarian Football Works).
Status: Southampton is considering activating the option due to his positive impact."

Presumably we're going to have to shift at least one of Ramsdale and Bazunu on before making this permanent?

I am going to stop going on about Bazunu but can anyone ever recall a years long debate on here being so clearly settled in just a couple of months before?

Really is night and day and makes a huge difference points wise over a season. You don't win games like last night without a decent keeper.

Different, but there were those (me for one) that was distraught over the Adkins sacking and thought that was a huge mistake to have this Argentinian guy that was only known for fouling Michael Owen in the WC. I may have been a bit wrong there.

Yeah good shout that. But I think that was pretty unanimous on both parts; most people didn't want Adkins sacked but quickly realised it was a good move.

I'm struggling to remember anything that there was strong disagreements over on here for a long time which has been settled so decisively.
