Bob, I've had a good think about what you've said and, in all honesty, it's just another desperate attempt to defend Donald despite the evidence. Donald himself said he spoke to the two lads, at his home, so your claims about someone from Gosforth and Donald being told about it then quoting it are obviously incorrect.

Since you turned up here people have generally been polite unlike your reception on RTG. So I think it's ill advised to try to deceive people with these far fetched stories. It also destroys your credibility with other things and, in my opinion, makes you look the deluded fantasist RTG see you as.

You never miss a chance to portray Donald as someone we should all respect and admire even though people have made it clear they don't. It doesn't look like you'll ever convince people, my advice would be to stop trying.

It's not right to use this forum as a platform to defend Donald, in my opinion.
Good post.

This came to mind.....

To be fair I don't think he is saying he knows as in he knows them but in terms of he knows what happened.

If there was a serious kidnap attempt by two blokes on a 11 year old girl what stopped it? Is she Chuck Norris in disguise?
He actually states that he does know them in post #50271, no ambiguity for me in his post. She may not be Chuck Norris but it could be that Bob is related to Hans Christian Anderson.

There were no blokes from Sunderland (or Gosforth for that matter) at a random bus stop in rural Oxfordshire, there was no "grappling" or kidnapping of his daughter. Nobody went to Donald's house and had a laugh about it afterwards. None of it happened because it is a bare faced lie that the charlatan thought would garner some sympathy for himself. It merely served to make us hate him even more 1. For having the gall to suggest it, and 2. To think that anybody outside of a primary school would believe it.

My parents were the most honest and decent people possible ...

... they told me there was a tooth fairy, Santa Claus and that I was the cleverest boy in the whole world.

Donald said he had these two Sunderland supporting kidnappers at his house ...

... if you're telling the truth he's told a massive lie which confirms exactly what i believe him to be.

I've been down in London this week, and randomly bumped into Charlie Methven in Hyde Park. Was chatting away to him, nothing heavy and no, i didnt give him any stick etc.

Said he loved his time with us, was a real roller-coaster and will always follow us.

I know full well about his failures with us, but he came across as a decent bloke, tbh.

Until he asked you to get the attendance figures? Jokes mate.

since KLD came in (don't see anything I the media anymore about a clueless rich kid spending Daddies money and its only going to end one way these days do you), but we've had dealings with the likes of PSG and as said in the thread,Real Madrid watching one of our players, I'd say the futures bright

He hoodwinked the North Korean radio journalist - or fuelled their agenda.

I can't see the ship badge coming back.

I think if badge changes it will.be to something really minimal as seems to be the trend today and can look good imo.

At the risk of boring the snot out of everyone, that was one of the first feasibility studies from the Dell people.

They thought the current badge was clumsy, over complicated and difficult to market internationally.

Various possibilities were proposed but I'd lost my contact before I got to see them ...

... shame, I'd loved to have had a look.

Yeah.

Would be interesting. But I think it would be something simple with a black cat or even just safc.

With respect, a very reputable poster who I won't name as they've asked me not to, had heard of plans to at least have the ship badge on the away kit from next season, with a gradual change back permanently

Also says Hummel are close to being signed off with and outside chance of Castore.
