The owner of our club claimed he wanted to sell because of the abuse and anger his family had received.

You regularly claim he was our saviour, when he arrived, so I think we're entitled to comment on things after he bought the club.

What you said about it being some random bloke from Gosforth simply makes no sense.

    .

    I'm intrigued now Bob.

If this young girl was actually assaulted by two grown men why didn't Donald go straight to the police.

I would've and most people would imo.

If he didn't want to do that, and tarnish our name, why did he keep repeating it to various papers.

He claims his family was targeted and abused by us and that's the reason he wanted to sell the club.

He's a coward, a liar and I'd give him a clout if I bumped into him again.

    You can tell him that.

Can't believe there is an actual real Sunderland fan who defends Donald. Boggles my mind. Bloke is nothing but a spineless rat.

KLD, Short, Murray, etc, would all be welcomed back to the SOL even though they were imperfect in various ways.

Donald and Methven would never be welcome imo ...

    ... does anyone disagree.

Look Bob, if you want to try and defend someone you know and call "a friend" that's down to you but I can tell you this - Donald will never be welcomed back at the club and no matter what you say, people remember how he lied and very nearly put the club into administration and maybe out of existence and he will never be forgiven for that. If I was you, I would keep your conversations with him to yourself.

They all made mistakes....the only one i struggle with is Short allowed the mess to unfold the just pulled the plug, didnt give us a fighting chance, before selling on & walking away. This is something i always point out to mags who slag off Ashley, even when the got relegated twice, he still supported & funded them

Shorts mistake, which i dont get with billionaires, he put enough money in for us the do well, he trusted the wrong people, he put none football people in roles the we not capable of, or other none experts in roles they couldnt do....he would never have been a billionaire if he did this in his other businesses.....KLD is doing more or less the exact opposite which is unreal given his age...that kid may have a stand named after him when hes gone

I see Murray different, loved the club, went wring on his watch....but he didn't have the funds, without causing himself problems to put it right....but he was insistent he wouldn't sell until it was the right people

Donald didn't have deep enough pockets and the well was going dry. He chanced his arm at a massive pay day and it didn't happen, he was a main reason why it didn't happen. The gig was to big for him.

The fact he elaborated and twisted an incident to try and gain pity from safc fans is a real example of his character.

A rat. He was also played like a fiddle over a long period and slowly pushed into the abyss. Absolutely zero loss to this football club.

From your post I take it that you haven't reported an attempt to kidnap a child ,by people that you know, to the Police?

To be fair I don't think he is saying he knows as in he knows them but in terms of he knows what happened.

If there was a serious kidnap attempt by two blokes on a 11 year old girl what stopped it? Is she Chuck Norris in disguise?

The problem is what could they be charged with, 'Going equipped to grapple' or perhaps, 'Conspiracy to grapple'.

As you say it's hard to perceive 'attempted grappling' and how it was prevented ...

... maybe the lass has her own force field, impressive if she has <whistle>

I've been down in London this week, and randomly bumped into Charlie Methven in Hyde Park. Was chatting away to him, nothing heavy and no, i didnt give him any stick etc.

Said he loved his time with us, was a real roller-coaster and will always follow us.

I know full well about his failures with us, but he came across as a decent bloke, tbh.

He's a politician mate, says what people want to hear ...

... if you'd given him the stick he deserves he'd soon have turned on you.

I met him at Oxford and my first thought was 'slippery'.

Is grapple the new buzzword for what happened? Didn't Donald say they grabbed her and drove her home, where they all had a laugh about it?

Now Bob said two lads grappled her some unknown person told him they were Lads Fans so he then was quoted on it?

Bob, to give you the benefit of the doubt I've had a good think about what you've said and, in all honesty, it's just another desperate attempt to defend Donald despite the evidence. Donald himself said he spoke to the two lads, at his home, so your claims about some random from Gosforth and Donald being told about it then quoting it are obviously incorrect.

Since you turned up here people have generally been polite unlike your reception on RTG. So I think it's ill advised to try to deceive people with these far fetched stories, we'renot dummies. It also destroys your credibility with other things and, in my opinion, makes you look the deluded fantasist RTG see you as.

You never miss a chance to portray Donald as someone we should all respect and admire even though people have made it clear they don't. It doesn't look like you'll ever convince people, my advice would be to stop trying.

It's not right to use this forum as a platform to defend Donald, in my opinion.
