Heard rumours of some big investment into the club a few months ago which was meant to be announced in close season. Not sure how true it is but the guy who told me is about 50% right with his info and he told me a few days ago that there was some serious people looking to invest. When I seen the news about Donald just made me think have they decided to get rid of him earlier than expected because these negotiations have advanced. Like I say not sure how reliable the info is but does seem a little coincidental.
Most of us are 50% right to be fair

There will be investment

There won't be investment

In a strange sort of way SD could have been a hero if Jack Ross had not fecked up.

Possibly but if we'd gone up with Ross and that team, plus 'investment' from Donald, we'd have been embarrassed imo.

I don't go along with this 'facts' that the club would've been worth a fortune, simply by going up, or that Donald would've had buyers queuing round the block.

He might've even believed he was a football genius who could pull it off again and get to the PL.

yeh and I think a lot of people assume that Donald would have immediately sold us if we’d gone up, but it’s become incredibly clear since he was banking entirely on PL money.

It’s not gone unnoticed that his final stake was sold as soon as we could no longer be promoted this year. It was all completed and announced BETWEEN our losing semi final and the final :D. That’s quite something

I guess the deal was all already agreed with two prices, one with promotion and one without. And then as soon as the outcome was clear they just had to pull the trigger to finalise it
