Great news that today. 51% for KLD is what we all wanted in order to officially put any ownership fears to one side and concentrate on enjoying the season.

One last, desperate roll of the dice by Donald, which he is entitled to do. It's a very high stakes way of gambling, but I assume he's not daft enough to gamble with money he can't afford to lose.:emoticon-0182-poolp

I really hope that, by the start of the new season we can all stop mentioning Donald.

He's a nothing.
I'm quite happy Donald still has shares for one simple fact KLD will make this club sustainable I don't think it will make a profit for a long time , most clubs don't.
If it loses money over the next few years , which needing investment it probably will then it will cost Donald money by holding on to his shares.
If we get back to the premiership how much will it have cost him, it cost him money last season, it will definitely cost him money next season, so even if he does sell at a profit how much has he lost in the mean time .
I really think KLD has had his pants and well and truly spanked his southern arse

Depends if he sells his shares elsewhere.
Or his FIL decides to join him here.
Bob do you know if dumb and dumber ended up accepting the 2/3 of the original KLD had previously offered.
Am I right in what I heard, that when KLD first came on board D and M wanted a certain amount and KLD wasn't prepared to pay that for a league 1 club, they wouldn't budge which is the reason he only agreed to 41% and said he would buy the rest at this price when we were promoted.
If this is the case and they have accepted less than was agreed as well as the investment they had to put in last season it looks like they would have been better off taking KLD original offer for the whole lot. I will also be a sign of how good the KLD team are and they know exactly what they are doing

Just catching up here.

So one of the tosspots is gone and the other has been diluted - quality. Donald is hanging on like that winnet that just won't wipe in the hope the proper owners can get us PL football and he can get a bit of a payday. Or, they're allowing him to stay for now as they've already got an agreement on his share, or something.

Now lets get some deals done!

Of course but I doubt anyone is actually ITK <laugh>

So do l, have you ever seen a post start.

I claim to be in the know, it a figment of somebody's imagination who is actually referring to another poster's comments.

As you rightly point out it's hearsay, snippets, gossip and being informed, then it becomes a free for all what other make of that rumour.

Bob knows nothing. Has proved it consistently over the years on RTG and again on this thread. Read his posts back absolutely nothing related to a share increase by the existing owners.

...and as if by magic...

they appear, only to slag the lads off that offered info.

people hear/get told things, they pass it on, not all of it comes off and sometimes is well wide of the mark...in fact most of it is well wide of the mark but most of us also understand that 'goalposts change' with alarming regularity in the world of football and a nailed on signing one day can fall at the last minute due to not agreeing final terms, a takeover/share distribution/shareholder buy out can go any one of a thousand ways.

the lads mentioned something was happening, without them we would probably have known nowt till todays message from KLD but as it happens, we have had a few weeks of mindless speculation, accusation and willies caught in zips to pass the time...i would not change it for anything, great fun.
