Bye bye Jim, thanks for the farce of the season tickets and supporting project big picture.

Nice to see another comment from Donald as well :emoticon-0173-middl:emoticon-0173-middl

This. Might have been okay at certain parts of his job but these two were major **** ups and mean I can't think of him as anything other than yet another complete failure. Good riddance. I'm sure we'll be bringing in someone better

He screwed that up but I did here that he was good in the sale process. Plus the lobbying with EFL to ensure we got a good hand out.

That said, glad he has gone. He didn't step down either. Booted down the stairs.

He was basically brought in to help Donald get as much money out of the club as possible. I suppose he's managed that but he never gave a **** about the fans and treat us like ****e

With KLD being the Chairman with immediate effect do we need a new CEO?

I'm not clued up on organisational structure to be honest

I've no idea but was told a while back that he wants a 'henchman' although that's the translation from French. I think it just means a right hand man. I was expecting it to have been arranged before the announcement though tbh.

TBH, he has done ok behind the scenes in very difficult circumstances.

That said, it's clear that it's the KLD show now and anyone now with him is out. His way or the high way, I was told. He wants to remove any reminders of incompetence and failure and bring his own people in. That's to be expected I guess but I love the swiftness of it all.
But but but nothings changed Donald and methven still running the show etc etc <laugh><laugh><laugh><laugh><laugh>

Suppose it depends on how hands on KLD plans to be but usually you do have a CEO as well as a chairman. Again depends on how involved Speakmann will be in the financial side of things. In the past we've always had a CEO or a DoF handing transfers

I think there's been a suggestion in the past that KLD would want a football man to head up the Board under him. Various ex players have been mentioned, whether any of them would have the managerial skills,I'm not sure.

No wonder Jackie wouldn't talk to him.
Him and Jackie supposedly fell out years ago because Jackie thought Bobby had forgotten where he'd came from. Jack was always proud to come from up here, never forgot where he came from and was pretty down to earth. I remember him in Ashbrook Club a few years back when his son was running it and he had plenty of time and a joke for everyone. People said then that you'd never get Bobby doing that.

I’m assuming he’ll be replaced, any names yet ? Also, most of Donald’s appointments will likely be replaced. What about all the clerical errors ? I’m sure we took someone from Eastleigh who organises all the admin.

Got to say I didn’t see this coming so soon. I know he cocked up the season cards but I believe he was working on instruction from above, and it was a difficult time. So I do feel for him somewhat.

That said, I’m delighted he’s gone as it gives us the clean slate we all wanted and it’s absolutely for the best that KLD shows he’s in charge.

In fairness Jim done brilliant in his part of the sale of the club. My understanding was that he was brought in solely to assist the sale, then once completed he has stepped down as expected. Thank you Jim and good luck.

The position of chairman is the figure head of the club, need a chief executive to look after the day to day running of it.

That chief executive has to be KLD's appointment.

Cannot imagine KLD will be turning in for work every day at the club as you would expect to him to have other business interests which will need his attention.

As for Rodwell he should have been chased for his support for project big picture.
