I just don't understand this, he's the one who's going to be Donald's agent, inside the club, while he pulls the strings from afar ...

... I know that's the truth because I've seen it posted, a thousand times, on a forum not far from here.

Surely that wasn't just a total fabrication based on no information whatsoever.

Hahaha aye. Wise men say were certain of this too!

Ive seen it mentioned that Donald is looking at a Spanish club, If he bought one, would he have to sell up here completely?

Class this like, KLD wielding the axe.

FWIW apart from that season ticket fiasco I dont think Rodwell did a bad job all things considered, but no room for old guard sentiment. Get them out.
I thought he was ****e. He should have resigned then if he was just following orders. You don’t piss off the majority of your paying customers when you need them.

TBH, he has done ok behind the scenes in very difficult circumstances.

That said, it's clear that it's the KLD show now and anyone now with him is out. His way or the high way, I was told. He wants to remove any reminders of incompetence and failure and bring his own people in. That's to be expected I guess but I love the swiftness of it all.

Done ok? It was his announcement that season ticket holders wouldn't get a refund if not allowed in the stadium that directly resulted in well in excess of 10 thousand fans cancelling their renewals.

Goodbye and good riddance, I'm looking forward to season ticket offers being restarted now.

His season ticket **** up set the marker for me. The "pay up or **** off" narrative was a disgraceful way to treat the fans

He screwed that up but I did here that he was good in the sale process. Plus the lobbying with EFL to ensure we got a good hand out.

That said, glad he has gone. He didn't step down either. Booted down the stairs.

With KLD being the Chairman with immediate effect do we need a new CEO?

I'm not clued up on organisational structure to be honest
Suppose it depends on how hands on KLD plans to be but usually you do have a CEO as well as a chairman. Again depends on how involved Speakmann will be in the financial side of things. In the past we've always had a CEO or a DoF handing transfers
