Why freaked me out a bit was, as I posted on here about 3-4 weeks back, I was categorically told he was approved.

That maybe ties in with what you’re saying, I was told ‘nee owner all approved’ and took that as ‘it’s done’.

We are here now mate and hopefully, hopefully this is our guy and our time.

I feel ****ing great about the lad and the stuff he’s already instigated in the background has been very encouraging.

When Speakman talks, for example, you can just tell he’s a step up from the rabble we’ve been dealing with. Speakman knows the game and he gets fan feeling.

The Roswell news also shows a ruthless streak, for all he got a bit wrong he wasn’t bad, he did alright with his tools, but straight in ‘off you ****, not good enough’.

I like that.

Might be a different forum, but we all support the same club.

I don't get this 'them and us' mentality when we all want the same thing.

Love listening to him speak, such an intelligent man. Could do worse than having him involved behind the scenes at the club in some capacity.

It’s not them and us, just don’t see the point in talking about usernames off a different forum at such a historic time.

Do what you want. Just think it’s boring. Sure there was a thread specifically for those who wanted to talk about the RTG forum etc.

Was thinking this the other day. I remember him saying he’s contacted every Sunderland owner or manager with his theory on why we were failing and they all ignored him, I wonder if he’s managed to get a moment with KLD this time around.

I don't get your "who cares" comment though. If someone on another forum gives some info about the club, I care, and I'm sure a lot of others do.

Don't forget, @Prehab26 used to give info over there before the bellends drove him over here - would you still think the same if he was still over there?

There is a slight disagreement about him in our house, the thought is he is on the dour side, but I find him a very intelligent observer, who really gets the situation around the club and area, much better than most. He was also a very good footballer, a bit of a rare combination. <laugh>
