It was absolutely dreadful from start to finish.

When I worked in the music industry and security I'd always try to persuade people never to meet their heroes.

SKP proved how wise I was being tonight ....

... total pessimism then begs for a job ffs.
Where's this KP stuff come from? Interviewed on SSN? Only articles I've seen are positive

Even the mrs who has zero interest in football has watched it and thought it was ****e. Totally dismissive of him due to his age and then begging for a job at the end.

**** off SKP.

Wise words.
My uncle once bumped into him one afternoon, not very friendly at all, he might have been having a bad day I suppose. I’ve never met a player who currently plays for us and don’t want to for the exact reason, particularly a legend.

had a couple of looks on the SSN site and cant find anything from SKP but a rather dour report from Dowie who sounds like he would rather be reporting on anything else...any links to SKP?

My sons football team got invited to the stadium of light to be flag bearers and after SKP heared my son scored 9 goals that day he sought him out and stood and chatted to him for 5 minutes giving him advice. Bloke didn't have too and the people with him were trying to hurry him along so left a good impression on us all

I was part of the security detail, at a football exhibition in Cannes, for the England campaign to get the World Cup.

Two of the main men were Geoff Hurst and Bobby Charlton.

As a NE lad I was bursting to be looking after our Bobby for 5 days.

Geoff Hurst was an absolute gent and, what's more, a bloody good sport for the security lads daft pranks.

Charlton was a sour faced misery without a good word for the NE.

I'd never tell my Northumberland relatives, who adore him, but FFS I'd rather spend time with Joey Barton.

I met Tony Norman in my local after one of our matches.
Mind he used to live near me by an aunt.
He was sound tbh, wouldn't take a drink off me and bought me one.
I didn't want to seem greedy so accepted a half lol,
Took the glass home and me mam washed it and put it with all the other stolen ones <laugh><laugh>

That’s great to hear mate, like I say you might catch someone on the wrong day at the wrong time. I absolutely love SKP and always will and would love to think he could be back in some capacity, but not as manager without cutting his teeth elsewhere first.
