My speculation is that Dreyfus et al pay a smaller amount up front, with agreement to buy remaining shares at higher cost once promotion assured.

Makes sense in that a) the pair of ****ers get a bit more for their pie, which is what they wanted and b) the new owners only pull out more of the asset is more valuable.

Would make sense that this setup was to bridge a gap, rather than long term.

I totally agree with you but I really begrudge the pair of them making any profit on the back of ****ing up the club!

I think that assessment is nearly there but as (allegedly) Sartori & Dreyfus are going to be 50/50 in acquiring an 80% share in Madrox>SAFC by which will quite likely be another investment vehicle (Ltd company)....this is the basis of a consortium open for further investment from (quite likely) Satoris Father in Law and the rest of the Dreyfus corporation who both have history of running football clubs. I honestly think this is the bigger picture if/when we get back to the promised land

RTG man, unbef......glievable! Fri night/Sat morning regarding LJ:
Good appointment
Forward playing young manager
Championship experience
Let’s all get behind him.

Now after it emerges that he may have spoken to Donald:
****e cockney midget
Donald’s puppet
He’s fallen for Donald’s ****e
Should’ve got Cowley

They banging on about Donald keeping out of what’s going on as he only has 15% stake. As far as I know he still owns 74% of the club until a deal is done so he’s bound to be involved. Thick as mince some of that lot.

That's putting it mildly.

TBH I'd hope for the best if the new owner appeared in a clowns outfit driving a clown car and the doors & headlights fell out. I just can't see the point in doing anything else.

We've no idea what will happen with them, the Derby supporters are in the same boat ....

.... que sera and Haway the Lad.

now all we need is Moses of Sunderland '' WOULD WE HAVE TO BUILD HIM AN ARK''?

Aye I’d go with that, we will need bigger fish if we want to be more than also rand in the PL.

I’d be confident I’m close to the mark in terms of Tweedledum and Tweedletwats retained stakes though, that won’t be long term.

Little tie in with AS Monaco and the father in law sounds mutually beneficial.

Maybe they do a fan swap and send us all to the Côte d’Azur for a bit <laugh>

We need to see if these new people walk the walk. It’s as simple as that. We’ve seen what Donald and Methven are capable of doing a and we know their intention is to spend nothing and maximise profit ahead of winning football games. In time we’ll see if Sartori and Dreyfus aren’t as stupidly arrogant. I do worry that the ego’s of Laurel and Hardy may mean they have some sway and they are still shareholders so have some anyway which is why I want them gone. Hopefully the structure and the new people appointed have some power to make wiser decisions.
Your right, we all need to calm down and see where the land lays when the takeover is formally announced, it can only be a matter of days now.. If its not, then the serious questions that need answering will begin again.

Put it this way - by setting up the Sporting Director, who in his interview stated a number of times that he has autonomy in his job so IMO will do what's necessary to get this club functioning properly behind the scenes, KLD and JS have done more in a few days than the other 2 members of the ownership group has done in the last 2 years (and probably spent more money doing it!) I have no doubt who will be running the show and it definitely won't be the minority shareholders
Yep,, but it needs to be clarified by the new owners sooner rather than later and the future plans IF he wants the supporters Fully on side. We don't need Donald, Methven or Rodwell (if he is going go) to continue alienating the fans, they need to realise their time is up.

Sorry mate, everything has to be NOW NOW NOW ...

... people are busy busy with important jobs, people to see, meetings to attend, an IT crisis to resolve, copier paper jammed warning flashing.

How dare these billionaires, with their arty farty negotiations, keep us waiting like this ...

... we demand answers or shops will be shouted at and I'm not joking!!!

The post, in response to Donald & Methven still having a say , was for people to give it a bit slack ,as Magnus stated a date ,was it the 17th when the TO was expected to be announced.. It will be interesting to see what shareholdings are registered a CHouse.

EFL will be extra cautious as well, they are in the spotlight already with joke owners being approved and we are a ****ing big club if they didn’t do it right.

I didn’t expect it to breeze through the EFL even if it was Dell or Bezos.

They are ****ed if they get another one wrong.

That's quite true.

These organisations seem to get away with murder for years ...

...but one day, the law catches up with them.

I'd prefer that he had confidence. Confidence is knowing that you can do something and have the wherewithal to back it up.
Arrogance is believing that you can or are entitled to do something with no basis for that belief. Arrogance leads to a downfall.
That's my definition by the way, not the dictionary definition obvs.
Think there's something to that, but... you can be 100% quietly confident, and completely wrong, whereas I'd say of the two Mourinho is definitely arrogant despite being able to back it up.

There's a clearer potential fall from grace from an arrogant position than a confident position.
