As a minority shareholder who did not get on with SD what input could he have , probably can’t wait for SD to disappear in to the sunset and get to work . For a purported member of WMS staff you do not appear to be very wise if you can’t fathom that a minority shareholder is not going to have much influence.

Staff? It’s an amateur podcast mate in many literal senses.

Methven had the smallest stake in the club and was the most influential character around the club until his mouth got too big even by his standards.

It is an investment in madrox but the shares from methven and Donald is going from 80% to 20-26% they're only holding on for their payday and once they get it they'll be gone.

I really, really hope so. I just worry about what they do between now and the day they leave and how long it actually takes for them to piss off.

I'm still hoping the FPP loan has somehow been renegotiated to be held purely against their shareholding. I have literally zero idea how that would work, and think I'm in cloud cuckoo land, but that's my hope.

As long as you accept that's nothing more than an opinion, fair enough.

There's nothing but opinion to suggest he'll be anything more than a minority shareholder in the future.

That FPP loan was a noose around their neck. This deal will save them more than likely.

Agreed.

However now there's money in the club I'm not too fussed they're still involved. Obviously I'd much, much rather they were gone. But I'm a Sunderland fan first and an anti-Donald fan second. I'd much rather we were succesful and Donald made £100 million from us than we stayed in League 1 and he walked away bankrupt.

All gone very quiet after what was promised an exciting few days :emoticon-0107-sweat
That's the problem though isn't it people who claim to be itk need to be 100 percent sure what they post is the truth. At the same time people who take it all in need to be sure the information is the truth

I don't think it's the responsibility of the ITKs to be 100% sure of the truth. It's the responsibility of everyone reading what they post to manage their own expectations and know that nothing is certain until it happens. These last 48 hours have proved that.

Yeah SAFC fans like you are unbelievable writing off managers before they have even come in. We are in League One. Big Sam isn’t coming back, Keane isn’t coming back. Grow up and get realistic. Stop slating people for being confident about a manager coming in who has done a good job in his previous roles. You lot sound like you want us to fail just to vindicate yourselves. It’s pathetic.
I wrote off Parkinson before he arrived and I'm sure plenty others did, and was rightly to do so.
