Showed little loyalty to LCFC after achieving promotion playing mainly dire football which may work in div4 but has no future as you progress upwards.Our footy today under Appleton is like chalk and cheese with what the cowleys offered and all that with a budget 40% less than what the brothers were given!
Cowleys are a case of "give us full control" and whilst at Lincoln they hawked themselves around various clubs(wba/sheff wed) looking to get into the hotseat but did little due diligence on the basket case that is HTFC and got their wish of a championship job without really doing their full professional managers apprenticeship.........knew it would end in tears.
The Championship and non league footy are different worlds and the cowleys have their experience in the latter. The cowleys fall out at HTFC was an issue of power plus dire visuals on the pitch(stone age footy) and a complete failure to deal with highly paid footballers that wouldn`t stay behind for detention.
Currently the brothers are 1/2 favourites for the job with skybet and betvictor so they possibly must know something?..cowlys know rodwell!
Best of luck in getting the right man in the driving seat but you could do better than the brothers.

More of the same to look forward to if that is the case. It’s a shame the club isn’t heading for a clean break as had previously been rumoured/expected.

It won't mate although some newcomers, who are trying to make it that way, will fall by the wayside.

Two were banned today and more will follow if they come on thinking they can act up.

It's not the real situation and it's not anymore realistic than anyone elses take, that's a common mistake you seen to be making, assuming your perspective is like gravity and anyone elses is like a conspiracy theory to be dismissed as wilful ignorance.

Anyway as far as the new owners goes, Donald has been running the club as the sporting director but methven and sartori have both been equally as sick of the decisions made and want a real one appointed, they have then arranged for others to come on board to give themselves control of the club.

I can understand ordinary posters being unaware but some people should really have a better appreciation.

I spent enough time behind RF in the NE corner. I told my lad we were moving because of the away fans, it wasn’t. That’s before he became erm “famous”. He was just a kid, I watched him grow up, it brought some special moments

Thanks - that makes sense to me. Slightly disappointing but can see why they'd do it.
