Parkinson is becoming frighteningly like Bruce.

He blames players, doesn't know his best team, has scant regard for tactics and makes substitutions too late to affect the game.

I've tried to give him the benefit of the doubt but I'm done ...

... Rochdale had kids playing and looked better than us.

Rochdale ffs!!!

His substitutions are a disgrace. If it's not happening, you change it after an hour, not with 15 mins to go. Half an hour gives the subs a chance to get into the game.

Also, George Dobson has to be the worst midfielder I've seen in SAFC colours in over 45 years of watching the lads, and when you think I've seen Steve Doyle, Martin Gray and the likes, that's some accolade. I'd love to see his pass completion stats for last night, he was absolutely woeful.

@Smug in Boots you mentioned a while back that there could been a "dream" managerial team appointment if we were taken over - any sign of that still being the case? We need this guy gone and instead of being a sleeping giant we're looking at using the electronic paddles to get the heart of the club going again

I honestly don't know the answer to that question mate.

If I posted the name people would laugh, we seem light years away from it now.

Safe to say FPP wouldn't have come here just to stagnate in L1.

Parkinson is clearly a negative coach who goes into a game scared of losing rather than concentrating on winning. It's a disgrace that in this poor league we are playing with two holding midfielders , one of whom "Dobson" passes to the opposition more than to his team mates the other isn't much better. Even in League One other teams seem to play with pace while we are too slow, this has been the case for several years.
Last night in the last 15 minutes the number of times the ball was in the Rochdale box it was crying out for a striker who thrives in that situation, if only we had one of them " oh hang on we have he was sat on the bench " Grigg.
If Parkinson stays in his job I can't see promotion this season, he is clearly an outdated coach who doesn't know how to play expansive creative football. Time for him to go.

Parkinson is a man with NO plan A, B, or C , the changes he made were that of a desperate man , the defeat on Saturday needed to be reacted to but again just as I said O’Nien is not a central defender Connor McClaughlin is certainly not a Right wing back . Where was Jack Diamond who has played in that role and was overlooked , again youngsters not been given the opportunity. George Dobson looks out of his depth even in EFL1 so how he can be preferred to Leadbitter,Scowen ,and even DanNeil I find mystifying, I am trying to keep the faith but we are a shadow of the SAFC of old .PP I am losing faith in you .

One final annoyance on last night. It was almost as if Parky dropped Grant for a minor tiff. Didn’t want to drop him from entire squad as didn’t want to create a “thing”, so just put him on bench to prove a point. And then didn’t use him to prove a point.

We only used 2 subs and didn’t chase the game, and sacrificed an ability to have a game changing youngster on the bench, so that stubborn Parkinson could prove his point covertly.
Only using 2 subs is shocking

Can just hope that this takeover gets pushed through and New people have new ideas and a new manager lined up.
Plenty time left in the season for a someone to come in change things and get us up.

Just had a browse of RTG even Bob seems to be fully on board with a takeover and manager change

Bob is on board? Crap. . It must be off then!

If the takeover is as close as little snippets are making out, then hopefully this can come off. If the people involved have big pockets, then they are going to want only the best involved and that comes with a price. And anyway we could do with a good laugh

Yeah, we all need cheering up, hopefully sooner rather than later

Be confident.

As I said yesterday I don't only believe it will happen, I believe it already has happened.

The only reason I'm saying nothing is because I was actually blamed, by some, for wrecking the previous negotiations.

All of this shyte will be forgotten once it's all done and dusted ...

... well, by me anyway.
