If I was potential new owner I’d call the deal off tbh, we are desperate, ****ing disgrace how bad we’ve become.

I'm hoping the new investors realise, that with the right management team with a genuine plan in place and proper investment in January, we would storm this league. There's bugger all to fear in it. The fact that we are still struggling to keep pace is a f***ing disgrace!

Parkinson is becoming frighteningly like Bruce.

He blames players, doesn't know his best team, has scant regard for tactics and makes substitutions too late to affect the game.

I've tried to give him the benefit of the doubt but I'm done ...

... Rochdale had kids playing and looked better than us.

Rochdale ffs!!!

Steve Bruce has generally had the infamous nickname of - Steve Bruce Mr Excuse, its always everybody elses fault and its Parkinson all over....just looking at the games per point total when Ross was sacked last year and we played 11 with 19 points....Parkinson has played 8 with 15 points.....He has surely got to be on thin ice, I would say if he doesnt get more than 4 points in the next 3 games he has got to get the bullet

Only regime change will prompt his position being under review.

I wouldnt think so, A change of manager is small change in the coffers with regard to success of getting promotion and its increasingly looking likely that this fella isnt up to it no matter whos in charge at the top

I know we have only lost once this season and it very early to start making rash judgements...but......The steady decline in our football club is clear for all to see. We have a rank average squad that NO team in this league actually fears. We are now a run of the mill league 1 side, which for a club of history, stature and potential is a sin. Please ...whoever is thinking about buying this club, do it soon, as each week goes by its like a another nail in the coffin of a dear old friend

I hope the regime change makes it irrelevant but I don’t see Donald paying Parkinson and his back room team off regardless.

We need to be showing a 2 points per game average, we havent got that......if we still havent by 10 or 11 games I think he will be gone

I too am wondering if Parky is at fault.

Not a chance he gets sacked before new owners come in, and frankly I think any new owner will feel they need to give him a few games unless things take a massive downturn.

However it should be pretty obvious to everybody that it’s not working

I actually don’t want Parkinson sacked until a regime change. Next appointment has to be spot on and I don’t trust the club to make the right one currently. I have more faith now that it’s likely that Dave Jones will have a bigger say, but he’ll still be working on a bargain basement budget.

Paul Cook or Danny Cowley should be at the top of any new owners wish list - appoint either of those and your return on investment is more likely to happen sooner

One final annoyance on last night. It was almost as if Parky dropped Grant for a minor tiff. Didn’t want to drop him from entire squad as didn’t want to create a “thing”, so just put him on bench to prove a point. And then didn’t use him to prove a point.

We only used 2 subs and didn’t chase the game, and sacrificed an ability to have a game changing youngster on the bench, so that stubborn Parkinson could prove his point covertly.

Either that or a proven manager that wants a long term project, They have ego's as well and i would think that it would be a good thing to have on your CV that you took a league 1 club back to the Premiership

I don’t disagree but I’ve stopped thinking about the premiership. We are so far off feeling like a team capable of promotion, let alone staying up in the championship. The thought of getting out of that league feels insurmountable in the near future.

All that might change and I’m miserable as **** this morning mind.

That's the sad truth mate.

When we went down to the 3rd division last time the team visibly gritted their teeth and punched their way to the top. The opposition weren't any worse but were often beaten before kick off. The players used the supporters as an inspiration, not an excuse.

Surely, after last night, Donald can see it's time to go.

He's lost three things hard to recover ...

... momentum, trust and the support of the fans.
