Well, I was happy to go with the information, and it was positive and coming from a few different sources. That said, it's clear what the issue is without putting it directly into words on here. If it doesn't change, itl be as you are, or minor investment redistributed. That's not what is needed , far from it. It will ruin this club, it's already on its arse.

I have no doubt it was in the pipeline mate, none whatsoever, I meant that we knew the fat **** would put a spanner in the works because he wants his pound of flesh and more for making us the worst Sunderland side in our history and using the clubs money in the process. If this one ****s up, there should be no rest or respite for the detestable bastard.

Sounds like things have taken a serious turn for the worse. Any idea what the problems are? Apart from Donald obviously.

Sick of the whole thing now , fully expecting donalds greed to come out on top and another kick in the balls for safc fans

Think Jones and Sloanes are just doing what they can behind the scenes without putting their heads above the parapet , they are vulnerable as they could lose their positions on the board as they are not shareholders - not a good position but with our absent owners leaving the running of the club to Rodwell and Parkinson with the support of Jones and Sloanes I am of the opinion that the club actually runs better without Donald and Methven around . This situation illustrates why we need a takeover to happen sooner rather than later come on Donald and give someone else the opportunity to get the club moving upwards again .

It wont happen mate. We all know whats coming.....Again

For me now just announce its off again and we can all move on with our lives and concentrate on the football team trying to go up

I can see there's a sudden feeling, perhaps not quite so sudden for some, that there's no chance of a takeover. I'm not sure why some people seem so sure but I don't feel the same.

I've not had any new information but I've had nothing to contradict what I was told previously.

I don't believe Donald has the inclination, finance or courage to cling on and I truly hope I'm right.

These new plans to give £50m in loans for L1 and L2 clubs will be a pisser for Donald imo. On one hand there's a lifeline of money which can keep us going a bit longer, but also means other clubs can keep going and make promotion harder. I'm sure part of Donald's plan was to get up this year on the cheap (as per) banking on some clubs going bust and others having no money to spend. That part has been scuppered and with it being so close to the end of the window we don't have time to do the strengthening we should have done earlier in the window. He now has to hope we get through to the January window still near the top and can strengthen then to get us over the line. I don't think we've enough to stay near the top, by then we could be adrift.
